Waratahs have announced the signing of six players to their squad ahead of the upcoming 2025 season.

A product of Western Force Academy, Siosifa Amone made his Super Rugby debut with the club against Melbourne Rebels in the 2023 season and has featured 13 times last campaign. He now returns to Waratahs and is joined by Henry O’Donnell.

Outside back O'Donnell made his Super Rugby debut for Force last season and has five caps to his name.

Former Melbourne Rebels lock Angelo Smith also joins the new signing made by the club having made his Super Rugby debut in 2023. He has overall featured in 20 Super Rugby games.

The other three signings include Ben Grant, Ethan Dobbins and Leafi Talataina, who is yet to make his debut in the Super Rugby.

“Siosifa, Henry, Angelo, Ethan, Leafi and Ben have all taken very different paths in their Rugby journeys so far," said New South Wales Waratahs Director of Performance Simon Raiwalui to the club's official website.

"We’re very happy to be able to bring them together as Waratahs. Our goal is to provide an environment where each of them can excel and contribute in a meaningful way to the success of our team next season.”
