Brumbies have announced the signing of centre David Feliuai ahead of the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Having started his career with Sunnybank Dragons in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition, the 27-year-old made his senior debut with Romanian club Baia Mare in 2019. He spent three seasons with the club before moving to Australia where he joined Melbourne Rebels in 2023.

Feliuai played 12 times for the Rebels in the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season and was named in the Wallabies squad ahead of clashes against Wales and Georgia.

“I'm really grateful for the opportunity to join the Brumbies and can't wait to meet the players and staff,” said Feliuai to the club's official website.

"I feel very privileged to be in this position to join a Club with a proud rugby history. I'm happy to be making the move to Canberra."

Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham welcomed Feliuai to the club.

“It is great to have someone of David's calibre joining the Brumbies for the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season,” Larkham said.

“He had a very good year with the Melbourne Rebels, where he was rewarded with his first Wallabies squad selection in June.”

“David has great foot work and spatial awareness, with the added ability to break tackles in contact. We look forward to him joining us for the 2025 season".
