James Slipper is set to level Wallabies record as they line up to face Argentina in the fourth round of the Rugby Championship in Santa Fe on Sunday.

Slipper will start on the bench and is set to equal George Gregan’s record of 139 Tests after making his Wallabies debut in 2010.

Meanwhile, Australia head coach Joe Schmidt has made four changes to the starting line up as Andrew Kellaway shifts from right wing to fullback with Max Jorgensen set to make his first start with Marika Koroibete retaining his place at left wing.

Len Ikitau and Hamish Stewart continue their midfield partnership while Noah Lolesio's injury meant Ben Donaldson starts at fly-half with Jake Gordon at scrum half.

Harry Wilson will continue to captain the side and will be part of an unchanged back row while Jeremy Williams returns at second row replacing Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.

"It's a tremendous achievement for James to equal the record of the most capped Wallaby," Schmidt said of Slipper.

"He's the ultimate team man and I know the whole group will do everything they can to make it a memorable milestone."

Australia are languishing at the bottom of the Rugby Championship table after managing a solitary win from three matches.
