Western Force have announced that Australia lock Izack Rodda will be leaving the Super Rugby club at the end of the ongoing season.

Rodda represented the Queensland Under-20 team in 2015 and 2016 and signed a train-on contract with the Queensland Reds in 2016.

The 27-year-old made his Super Rugby debut for the Reds in 2017 and also had a brief stint with Lyon before joining Force in 2022.

He has overall made 20 Super Rugby Pacific games across three seasons.

Western Force general manager of rugby Chris Goodman wished Rodda good luck for his future endeavours.

“We wish Izack and his wife Kobe all the best in the next chapter of their lives in France. We know it’s been a tough decision for them," said Goodman to the club's official website.

“Izack was a strong contributor during his time with the Club and showed resilience and professionalism when challenged by injuries.

"We thank Kobe for her contribution to the Force during her time as part of the Club’s media team. They will be missed."

Western Force finished the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season at 10th place with four wins from 14 matches.
