Barbarian Women name Charmaine McMenamin as captain for clash against Springbok Women

Charmaine McMenamin, a two-time Rugby World Cup champion with the Black Ferns, will captain the Barbarian Women in their clash against the Springbok Women to be played at Cape Town's DHL Stadium on 7th September.

England's Rachael Burford will serve as vice-captain, making her final international appearance for Barbarian F.C. when the renowned invitational club faces the Springbok Women.

McMenamin will be part of the back row that also has Claire Molloy and Rownita Marston-Mulhearn while Ciara Cooney and Alycia Washington will be the preferred locks.

Rochelle Clark will start at loosehead prop with Cerys Hale at tighthead while Joanna Kitlinski will don the number two jersey. Amber Reed will take the kicking responsibility with Kendra Cocksedge at scrum half.

Carla Hohepa will join Burford at midfield while Lydia Thompson and Cheta Emba starts at left and right wings respectively with Emily Scott at fullback.
