New Zealand will miss the services of Patrick Tuipulotu and Stephen Perofeta in the upcoming Rugby Championship games in South Africa due to injuries.

Both the players already missed out the clashes against Argentina in Wellington and Auckland due to calf injuries and now will remain in New Zealand for further rehabilitation.

Chiefs lock Josh Lord and Blues back Harry Plummer will continue to be part of the squad as cover for the injured duo.

Meanwhile, skipper Scott Barrett, Ethan de Groot and Luke Jacobson have recovered from their respective injuries to join the squad. Plummer and fullback Ruben Love will remain the only uncapped players in the 36-man squad.

The All Blacks are at second place in the Rugby Championship with a defeat and a victory apiece in the two matches. They will now face the Springboks at Emirates Airline Park on 31st August before the two teams meet again on 7th September at DHL Stadium.
