Leinster have announced that they will host their group games of the 2024/25 Champions Cup at the Aviva Stadium due to ongoing redevelopment at the RDS.

Last season, Croke Park was considered an alternative venue and was used for Leinster's semi-final against Northampton. However, the preferred option this time around is the Aviva Stadium on Lansdowne Road.

Leinster will now play their home matches against Clermont and Bath in December and January at the Aviva Stadium.

"Leinster Rugby can this morning confirm that the Aviva Stadium will host both Investec Champions Cup pool games later this year and in January.

"Following the draw in July, Leinster are in a pool with La Rochelle, Clermont Auvergne, Bath Rugby, and Bristol Bears, with Leinster set to play Clermont and Bath at home.

"With the RDS Arena unavailable for 2024/25 due to redevelopment, the Aviva Stadium will be home for the majority of Leinster Rugby's home games this season, with Croke Park also available."

Leinster will kick-start their Champions Cup campaign with an away fixture against Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate on 8th December before moving to Aviva Stadium for the home game against Clermont on 14th December. Their third round clash will be against La Rochelle on 12th January before coming the Pool stage with a home game against Premiership side Bath on 18th January.
