Hurricanes fly-half Brett Cameron said his side will be relishing the physical battle against the Chiefs in the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific semi-final game at Sky Stadium on Saturday.

The game will also see Cameron locking horns with All Blacks fly-half Damian McKenzie, who is set to make the number 10 All Blacks jersey his own taking over from Richie Mo'unga.

"I don't focus too much on personnel, but it's always good having a little battle when I can test myself against great players," Cameron told about a possible match up against McKenzie.

The last time these two teams played, it was Cameron, who kicked a penalty goal in the added minutes to help Hurricanes edge out with a 20-17 victory.

"It's satisfying to nail a moment like that," Cameron said of the previous encounter against Chiefs.

"It can go either way, but you have to be ready for those moments.

"They (Chiefs) pose a lot of threats and are a very physical team, so we expect much of the same."
