Blues have announced that Bryce Heem has signed a contract extension with the club for the upcoming 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Heem started his career with Auckland and had represented Chiefs, Worcester Warriors and Toulon in the past.

The 35-year-old joined Blues in 2021 and since then has gone on to make 42 appearances for the club scoring nine tries.

He now joins the likes of Dalton Papali’i, Caleb Clarke and Zarn Sullivan on the players, who have recently committed their future with the club.

“I’ve loved my time at the Blues and I’m grateful for the opportunity to extend my contract for another season,” said Heem to the club's official website.

“It was awesome to be part of the 2024 championship win and to see several years of hard work pay off.

"The new challenge for this team will be backing it up with a strong performance in 2025 and I’m excited and ready for that challenge,” he said.
