Australia head coach Joe Schmidt has made five changes to the starting line up for the second round of the Rugby Championship game against South Africa to be played in Perth on Sunday.

Marika Koroibete will be playing his first game since the 2023 Rugby World Cup as he returns to left wing in the place of injured Filipo Daugunu while Andrew Kellaway and Tom Wright retain their place at right wing and fullback respectively.

While Len Ikitau and Hunter Paisami retain their midfield partnership, Nic White returns to scrum half replacing Jake Gordon. Carlo Tizzano, who made his debut last week returns to back row that also has Rob Veletini and Harry Wilson with Angus Blyth replacing Nic Frost in the second row.

Allan Alaalatoa will captain the side in the front row that also has Josh Nasser and Angus Bell. Seru Uru could make his Wallabies debut when he comes off the bench while James Slipper is in line to make his 138 Test appearance.

"The players have rolled up their sleeves and worked hard again this week," Schmidt said in a statement.

"The reality is that we need to be more combative and accurate this Saturday."
