Australia head coach Joe Schmidt has made two changes to the starting line up for the upcoming final round of the Rugby Championship game against New Zealand to be played in Wellington on Saturday.

Marika Koroibete, who started in four games for the Wallabies in the competition has been dropped with Western Force's Dylan Pietsch taking his place at left wing.

The second change sees Nic White replaced by Jake Gordon at scrum half forming halfback partnership with Noah Lolesio.

There are further changes on the bench as James Slipper, who became the most capped player for Australia last weekend misses out due to a head injury with Isaac Kailea drafted on to the replacements along with Ben Donaldson and Josh Flook.

“We didn’t help ourselves last weekend falling behind early to a fast-moving, high-tempo All Blacks side," said Schmidt.

“We know we will need to start better than we did last week, with the physical edge and accuracy required.”

Australia XV: 15 Tom Wright, 14 Andrew Kellaway, 13 Len Ikitau, 12 Hunter Paisami, 11 Dylan Pietsch, 10 Noah Lolesio, 9 Jake Gordon, 8 Harry Wilson (c), 7 Fraser McReight, 6 Rob Valetini, 5 Jeremy Williams, 4 Nick Frost, 3 Taniela Tupou, 2 Matt Faessler, 1 Angus Bell
