Bristol Bears home ground Ashton Gate has been confirmed as the venue for hosting the semi-finals of the next year's Women's Rugby World Cup.

Apart from the semi-finals, the venue which is also home for the Bristol City Football Club will be sharing the quarter-finals with Exeter's Sandy Park.

The iconic Twickenham Stadium which has a capacity of 82,000 will be hosting the final of the tournament with Stadium of Light in Sunderland set to host the opening game involving England.

The tournament will kick-start on 22nd August with the quarter-finals set to be played on 13th and 14th September. The semi-final will take place a week later before the final and the bronze-medal game scheduled on 27th September.

The initial batch of tickets will be available for purchase in September, ranging from £5 to £95.

The £95 category one adult ticket for the final at Twickenham sets a new record as the highest-priced non-hospitality ticket for an international women's team sport event in the UK. Additionally, 60% of the tickets are priced below £25.

Tickets for the opening match in Sunderland and the final at Twickenham will go on sale on September 24, 2024, with the remainder of the tickets available starting in October.

The tournament, hosted in England, will offer more than 400,000 tickets, which is double the number available for the previous women’s Rugby World Cup held in New Zealand in 2022.
