Saracens have announced that they will be investigating about the reports of the arrest of England international Billy Vunipola in Majorca.

Vunipola allegedly faced two instances of being tasered by law enforcement upon his arrival at a bar in Palma, the capital of the island, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to local reports, he appeared in court on Sunday and has since been released on bail while investigations continue.

The 31-year-old is set to depart from Saracens at the conclusion of this season and has previously been rumored to be considering a move to France, though no official confirmation has been provided.

"Saracens is aware of an incident involving Billy Vunipola in Majorca," read a statement from Saracens.

"We will of course deal with this incident internally, and will not make any further comment until then."

Vunipola made his England debut in 2013 and has 75 Test caps to his name. He joined Saracens in 2013 after previously played for Wasps between 2011 and 2013.

Saracens are at second place in the Gallagher Premiership table with 10 wins from 16 matches.
