Talking Rugby Union has launched ‘Club & Ground Heroes’ to recognise that without the dedicated service of volunteers, administrators, contractors and groundsmen, rugby at a recreational level would not be possible.
We would like you to nominate people from your club who are making a real difference to your club and ground whether preparing the pitch, making the tea, scoring, coaching, fund raising or refereeing.
A unique ‘Club & Ground Heroes’ certificate will be sent to every entrant as a memento and will also be sent to the clubs featured on the website.
A number of companies featured around this section of the website have chosen to support this initiative as a ‘Thank You’ to recognise the efforts and dedication of the few.
All you have to do is fill in the form below and choose the category that you are recognising – club officer (coach/tea person/referee/chairman) or groundsman and tell us why this person is a rugby club ‘Hero’.
