Samoa international Ed Fidow will attend a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday following his sent-off during the recently concluded World Cup game against Scotland at Kobe Misaki Stadium.

The 26-year-old was yellow-carded twice during Monday's game - one in the 57th minute and the other in the 75th minute - both resulting in penalty tries for the Dark Blues.

The Samoa wing will face the hearing in Tokyo before a three-person independent disciplinary panel chaired by Wang Shao Ing (Singapore lawyer and former international player) with former international player Olly Kohn (Wales) and former international referee Jose Luis Rolandi (Argentina).

Samoa are currently at the fourth place in Pool A with a win and a defeat apiece and will face Japan and Ireland in the remainder of the games in the opening round on 5th and 12th October respectively.
