I set up Talking Rugby Union on Valentines Day 2011, basically because I love rugby and I wanted to fill my time with something constructive. So I started writing articles myself and advertising them which went well so I recruited some writers and the rest is history.
I’m born and bred from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I’m a big Ulster fan and my favourite players consist of Paul O’Connell, Stephen Ferris, Chris Henry and Jason Robinson.

Great articles you put on here. Here’s to a great 6 Nations. I shall be in Scotland for the opener with England where I will be meeting up with 6/7 spanish mates from the team I played with in Spain nearly 30 years ago. They elected to support Scotland for some strange reason – mainly cos I supported England and one of them has even bought a flat in Edinburgh. Scotland probably doesn’t know it but there is a Scottish fan club in Asturias, Spain.
